Are the cottages Fáilte Ireland graded?

The cottages are 3* Fáilte Ireland approved and they are inspected annually by Fáilte Ireland.

What day is the day of arrival?

Your booking can commence any day of the week depending on availability. The minimum booking is for two nights.

When do I have to pay the deposit / balance?

The deposit is payable at the time of booking. We will then send you confirmation of the booking detailing when the balance is to be paid. If your reservation is made within four weeks of your holiday date, full payment will be required within five working days of your arrival.

How many bedrooms are there in the cottages?

There are 8 self-catering cottages.  Cottages 1-6 have three bedrooms. Cottage 7 has 2 bedrooms. Cottage 8 has 1 bedroom. 

What is the capacity of the cottages?

Cottages 1-6. Maximum capacity is 5 persons in 2 twin rooms and 1 single room. (2+2+1)

Cottage 7. Maximum capacity is 4 persons in 2 twin rooms. (2+2)

Cottage 8. Maximum capacity is 2 persons in 1 twin room. (2)

How equipped are the kitchens?

The large family dining kitchens are modern and equipped with Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, Electric Cooker, Kettle &  Toaster.

How many shower rooms are there in the cottages?

There are 2 shower rooms in cottages 1-6.

There is 1 shower room in cottage 7.

There is 1 shower room in cottage 8. 

Are there car parking facilities at the cottages?

There are ample car parking facilities at each of the cottages for 2 vehicles per cottage. 

Are there outdoor seating areas?

Each of the cottages has a private furnished patio area.

Are towels and linen provided?

Towels and linen are both provided.

Are travel cots available?

Travel cots are available free of charge. Travel cots must be booked in advance of your stay. Bedding for travel cots is not supplied.

Are pets allowed in the cottages?

One well behaved, house trained dog is allowed in the cottages. We request that you bring your own bedding and take care of furnishings in the cottage.  Bookings for a dog must be booked in advance 00 353 74 9520533. We reserve the right to decline pet stays that have not been pre-arranged.  

Is fuel provided in cottages with stoves/wood chip burners?

Wood chip pellets, briquettes & coal are not included in rental rates. Please order fuel for delivery  prior to arrival.  Cottages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 have wood chip burners. Cottages 4 & 6 have solid fuel stoves.

Do I need to do a full clean on departure?

All of our cottages are thoroughly cleaned between lettings; however, we ask that you leave the property in a clean and tidy state. Please ensure all your refuse/bottles/cans are removed from the cottage upon your departure and disposed of responsibly.

What are the office hours?

Monday – Wednesday 9am – 12.30pm

Thursday – Friday 9am – 4:30pm
